"You may have heard there are some changes to NWTF's Wheelin' Sportsmen
program. I'd like to take this opportunity to ensure you understand what has
taken place. Following is NWTF's explanation about recent changes to the
Wheelin' Sportsmen program.
Kirk Thomas has elected to resign his position as NWTF's Wheelin' Sportsmen
coordinator. In addition, other Wheelin' Sportsmen staff changes have taken
place.
One thing that has not changed and will not change is the NWTF's commitment
to its Wheelin' Sportsmen program. We remain steadfastly dedicated to
providing people with disabilities opportunities to be introduced or
reintroduced to outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and target
shooting. NWTF's powerful network of more than 2,350 chapters and 584,000
members and volunteers will move full speed ahead in continuing to host
events across North America. In addition, Wheelin' SportsmenĀ¹s 29,800
members will continue to receive NWTF's award-winning magazine, Wheelin'
Sportsmen while
www.wheelinsportsmen.org stands as a destination for Web
site visitors.
Change is an inevitable part of life. With it can bring new opportunities to
do more and for more people. The NWTF vows to ensure Wheelin' Sportsmen
rises to meet the challenge of sharing the outdoors with disabled outdoors
enthusiasts and their able-bodied outdoor partners.
Sincerely,
Rob Keck,
Chief Executive Officer"
