a hound dog workin' is awesome to watch....it's like they turn into a totally different dog....thanks for sharing.

Yeah, your right...slobbering, garbage getting, under your foot constantly hound dog when they aren't working! Poetry in motion when they are. You couldn't lose this dog on this particular training day. I pulled every trick in the book and nothing worked.

I AGREE WITH YA BOTH....awesome pic of y'all in the field...poetry in motion is an awesome use of words.....i cant wait to see Anddee working a downed critter....dragging deer throught he yard and the woods is still exciting but i want to see the look on her face when she actually has a whole animal at the end of her trail....

i think she is too ........has to be in her blood, lol........... I did the rattlesnake thing with her too, just remembered i didnt tell ya...but it was dead, a fresh kill...but still dead....i dont know if that has any affect on the odor they give off, but i let her smell up to it and , you know how the rest goes, lol.....i felt so bad, but it had to be tuaght to her, i just hope she remembers that scent isn't a good one...

well y'all have to tell me about the rattlesnake thing...i have a bloodhound too. but theres one difference , mine goes in the woods where there might be snakes, lol...yours stays at home and hunts rats, lol......just kidding.... next one i get i'll bring it over to ya,show ya what to do, then you have to clean it, but i get the meat, lol........

glad you did it! You may want to repeat it with copperheads or moccasins if she is a mule head. Most dogs avoid all snakes after the initial training.

i'm glad i am the only one that had faith in your hound that day....lol....and i'd use her again..she knew what to do....i just hope she remembers how it's done ....must get her in the woods more often so she's kept sharp...
