Doubt it. Do know of a gentleman I sent some .527 roundballs to once that had the .527's out shoot factory .530 swaged. The .527's were cast of WW's and the .530's were pure. He ended up buying a mould and casting his own from WW's. Apparently his rifle liked that combo.

I'm gonna go ahead and get a .395 mold then, and run some off. One of the guys that gave me the lead said he had about 1000 pounds, and just let him know when I needed more. Have you tried the loading block yet?? I just got some nice pieces of curly maple, and I'm gonna make some more as soon as I can get my buddy to plane 'em down to the right thickness.

Have used the block everytime I've been out hunting. Sounds as if you'll have plenty of lead.

Ended up casting 3500 of the little roundballs for the .40 caliber. Have cast right at 8000 roundballs since I started writing them down. This pic is where it all happens. This pic is my lounging area away from the casting. Wood pile, diesel heater, etc.
